Prompt & Report Intelligence APIs

Use WAO for prompt review or evidence-based reporting while provider execution and provider credentials remain in your own application.

  • Server-to-server API
  • Your application owns provider execution
  • No provider credential is sent to WAO
  • WAO Intelligence key required
Enterprise Controlled Pilot

Prompt or report processing must stay in my environment

Private Prompt + Report Intelligence Engine

Run approved Prompt and Report Intelligence inside your environment through a supervised enterprise pilot.

  • Licensed local container
  • No provider execution
  • No WAO Cloud transmission by default
  • Not Full Private WAO and not a Private Gateway

Controlled Preview

After choosing Gateway, Prompt Intelligence, or Report Intelligence, approved developers may request a controlled SDK Connector. It is not an independent integration or execution model. The SDK reduces boilerplate; it does not create access or change the called API's security rules.

SDK Connectors: an optional development layer over Gateway or an Intelligence API, not an independent execution model.

Full Private WAO / Private Gateway: A fully private WAO platform or Private Gateway is not an available WAO integration model. The Private Engine pilot covers local Prompt and Report Intelligence only. No request, download, setup, or sales path exists for the unavailable model.

Accounts and API keys

Know which sign-in or key is used at each step

You use only the sign-in or key needed for the selected integration. These credentials are not interchangeable.

Customer sign-in

An invited person uses a WAO account and multifactor authentication to work in the browser platform. It is not placed in application code.

Person → Customer sign-in → WAO browser platform

WAO API key

Your trusted server uses a project-scoped WAO key to call Gateway, Prompt Intelligence, or Report Intelligence.

Customer server → WAO API key → WAO API

AI provider key

A credential issued by an AI provider. WAO needs it only when an approved WAO workflow is responsible for sending the provider request.

WAO → AI provider key → Approved AI provider

WAO SaaS PlatformAvailable in controlled beta
What it does
Use WAO in the browser to create workspaces and projects, benchmark AI workloads, review evidence, compare providers, monitor AI Health, and generate reports.
Best for
Product, engineering, operations, and enterprise evaluation teams that want a managed WAO workspace.
You provide
An approved account, representative test work, and a provider credential only when a selected test must call that provider.
You receive
Benchmark evidence, provider comparisons, AI Health, Quality Metrics, and supported reports.
First success
A customer completes onboarding and reviews a finished benchmark or another entitled evidence-producing workflow.
Important exclusion
Normal browser use does not need a WAO API key, and provider execution is never automatic or unrestricted.
WAO GatewayAvailable in controlled beta
What it does
Route approved application requests through a project-scoped WAO Gateway key for governed provider execution and evidence capture.
Best for
Server applications that need controlled provider execution with an auditable WAO evidence trail.
You provide
An eligible project, a least-privilege Gateway key, an encrypted provider credential, and an approved request.
You receive
A controlled provider response plus safe provider, model, latency, usage, cost, safety, and reliability evidence.
First success
An authorized server request completes through an approved provider and its safe evidence appears for the same project.
Important exclusion
Gateway is not a public anonymous API, does not support every provider or model, and is not available as a Private Gateway.
Prompt Intelligence APIAvailable in controlled beta
What it does
Analyze, check, recommend, optimize, or compare prompts through a keyless WAO Intelligence workflow without giving WAO a model-provider credential.
Best for
Prompt, product, and engineering teams that need prompt intelligence but do not want WAO to execute their provider request.
You provide
A project-scoped WAO Intelligence key and the authorized prompt needed for the selected review.
You receive
A structured analysis, reason codes, recommendations, or comparison for the approved mode.
First success
A trusted server receives a valid Prompt Intelligence result for an authorized prompt without any provider credential.
Important exclusion
No model provider is called, no provider credential is accepted, and recommendations do not guarantee provider output.
Report Intelligence APIAvailable in controlled beta
What it does
Submit authorized evidence to generate customer-safe JSON summaries and supported PDF reports without giving WAO a model-provider credential.
Best for
Engineering, operations, governance, consulting, and leadership teams that need repeatable AI performance reporting.
You provide
A project-scoped WAO Intelligence key and validated evidence for the supported report type.
You receive
A customer-safe summary or supported PDF with report metadata, limitations, and controlled download details.
First success
A trusted server submits valid evidence and receives a useful supported report plus safe download metadata.
Important exclusion
No provider is executed, and a report describes supplied evidence; it is not a certification.
Private Prompt + Report Intelligence EngineEnterprise Controlled Pilot
What it does
Run licensed Prompt and Report Intelligence as a compiled container inside an approved customer-controlled environment.
Best for
Security-sensitive enterprises that require a customer-controlled Prompt and Report Intelligence runtime and can support a supervised pilot.
You provide
An approved environment, enterprise review, controlled installation, local access controls, and supervised acceptance.
You receive
Licensed local Prompt and Report Intelligence with local health, licence, and quota evidence.
First success
A real approved customer installs the immutable package in its environment, passes local health/licence checks, and completes local Prompt and Report calls.
Important exclusion
This is not Full Private WAO, a Private Gateway, provider execution, source-code handover, or a self-service download.

FAQ

Six answers before you choose

View the complete Public FAQ
Where should a new team begin?

Start with WAO SaaS when your first goal is to evaluate an AI use case, compare approved options, review AI Health, or create reports before integrating an application.

Can we use more than one WAO option?

Yes. For example, a product team may evaluate in WAO SaaS while an application uses Gateway and another internal workflow uses Prompt or Report Intelligence. Each option keeps its own approved access and data boundary.

Do Prompt or Report Intelligence need our provider key?

No. Your application retains provider execution. WAO receives only the prompt or authorized evidence required for the approved Intelligence workflow and uses a WAO Intelligence key.

Is the SDK a separate WAO product?

No. It is an optional connector for an already-approved Gateway or Intelligence API. It does not create access or change the underlying API controls.

Does no-store mean the content stays in our environment?

No. No-store controls supported evidence persistence. Prompt or evidence content still travels to WAO Cloud for cloud Intelligence APIs. Use the approved Private Engine pilot when local processing is mandatory.

Can we install the full WAO platform or Gateway privately?

No. Full Private WAO and Private Gateway are not available. The enterprise Private Engine pilot is limited to local Prompt and Report Intelligence and does not execute AI providers.
